"Hey! Tink's Spookie-doll was here all along?" Loki plucked the toy out of the air and squeezed it a few times, producing a loud squeaking sound that made the little dog at his feet practically levitate with glee. Grinning, Loki handed the toy to the dog, who ran delighted circles around her master's ankles while Loki took a few steps closer to the bed.

"I brought one of those giant cookie cakes so you can have birthday-breakfast, Mikel," he sang, grinning knowingly at Carlos for a moment before turning his gaze to the man he thought of as his Spy-Son. "I actually- ah- actually made one, but it was rubbish, I couldn't figure out how to make it thick enough that it wouldn't burn. I'm sorry," he added sheepishly, before pulling out a brightly-colored noise-maker and blowing. The paper unfurled with a loud trumpeting sound, and Loki grinned around the mouthpiece, looking- for a moment, and almost certainly without realizing it- a bit like Nick with a cigar champed between his teeth.

"Soooo.... SO. Mikel-miluv. Is it... serious? It is, isn't it? Oh, you precious boy, you!" Loki positively beamed, clasping his hands together in front of his brightly-colored print dress. "When are you gonna introduce your boyfriend to the rest of us officially, honey? Tonight? Can it be tonight? Can- birthday dinner, I've got BIRTHDAY DINNER for you tonight, you must come and then show us your boyfriend during the eating of this dinner, he is a very handsome man and apparently very talented!" Loki popped a cheesy eighties-movie thumb's up at them.

"This is gonna be so awesome! I've never had a chance to meet one of my kids's significant others before! Oh my gosh, should I call Mike and Bruce and have them come over for it, too? It was just gonna be a small Furious Family gathering but this is too exciting for me to contain myself!" Loki sparkled- literally. Green and gold sparkles were glimmering around him, happy magic overflowing from the pale vessel of his mostly-mortal body.

He stopped bouncing long enough to tilt his head at the two, as if finally taking a good look at them. "You got a headache, pumpkin-pie?"
